Welcome to WanderHosts (www.wanderhosts.com). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, holiday let management services, Airbnb property management, and booking platform. By accessing our site or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Information About Us

WanderHosts operates a short-term rental management platform specializing in property management across the United Kingdom, including Yorkshire, the Peak District, the Lake District, and North Wales.

If you have any questions regarding these Terms, please contact us at wanderhosts.com/contact/ or via email at support@wanderhosts.com.

2. Website Use & Intellectual Property

  • Acceptable Use: You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon or restrict the rights of anyone else using the platform.
  • Intellectual Property: All site design, text, photos, graphics, logos, and underlying source code are the property of WanderHosts or its content suppliers and are protected under UK and international copyright laws.
  • Accuracy of Information: While we make every effort to maintain accurate property details, photos, amenities, and availability, minor variations may occur.

3. Guest Bookings & Reservations

When booking a property listed by WanderHosts (whether directly via our site or through third-party platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com):

  • Binding Contract: A booking is officially confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from WanderHosts or the corresponding booking channel.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment or deposit policies are outlined during the checkout process. Failure to satisfy payment terms may result in reservation cancellation.
  • Check-In & Check-Out: Standard check-in and check-out times, key box codes, and access details will be provided prior to arrival. Guests must adhere to agreed timings unless explicit extension permission is granted.
  • Guest Conduct: Guests must treat the property with respect, observe local noise restrictions, adhere to maximum occupancy limits, and follow posted pet guidelines. Any damage caused during a stay must be reported immediately.

4. Property Management Services for Owners

For property owners partnering with WanderHosts for full-service holiday let or Airbnb management:

  • Management Agreement: The specific terms governing commission rates, dynamic pricing structures, maintenance authorizations, and financial payouts are detailed in your individual Property Management Agreement.
  • Safety & Compliance: Property owners are responsible for keeping their property compliant with all UK health and safety regulations (gas safety, fire risk assessments, electrical safety certificates, and adequate commercial holiday let insurance).

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Guest Cancellations: Cancellation eligibility and refund policies vary based on the booking option and platform chosen at the time of reservation. Please check your booking confirmation details.
  • Cancellations by WanderHosts: In unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe property damage or force majeure), WanderHosts reserves the right to cancel a booking and will provide a full refund or suitable alternative accommodation.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, WanderHosts accepts no liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or your stay at a managed property.
  • Personal Belongings: WanderHosts is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to guest personal property during their stay.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. All personal data collected through WanderHosts is processed strictly in accordance with UK GDPR laws and our official Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
